One of the best of the Hong Kong action choreographers is Corey Yuen. He has also directed some successful martial arts movies, most notably The Transporter (2002). This 2006 movie is generally not regarded as the best example of his work.
It is based on a fighting game, much like Mortal Kombat and Streetfighter. One feature of the DOA series of games has always been large-bosom-ed women in bikinis, and that feature has been incorporated into this movie as well.
Notable stars include Jaime Pressly, Holly Valance, and Devon Aoki, along with the pervasive Eric Roberts.
